Rowan is an Irish name meaning “little redhead.”
This little boy is a mixed-breed puppy who is approximately 12 weeks old.
Rowan is a playful cutie, and is one of 5 male pups, from the affectionately named “St. Patrick’s Day” puppies, who arrived at our rescue on March 15th.
Rowan, his brothers, and his dad Benji, were previously living with a family that could no longer care for them. Rowan is now living in a foster home with Benji, and 2 of his fur siblings, Patrick and Breck in the Hudson/Sprill Hill area of Florida.
Rowan is a peppy little pup! Very curious, and loves to instigate playtime with his brothers. He has the cutest pounce and although the smallest of his litter, Rowan has a big heart and likes to be cuddled.
His breed is unknown, however, his mom is a mix of Bull Terrier & Jack Russell Terrier mix (maybe even some Whippet too)& his dad is an Aussie Shepherd / Collie Mix. Both parents are approximately 35lbs, so we expect Rowan to be about the same size. We can't be certain of his breed.
