Meet Mikey! This fun-loving kid is about to discover that the world is his oyster!
Mike is an Australian Shepherd / Shar Pei mix (we can't be certain but that's what the dog scanning app tells us). He weighs approximately 41lbs, and our best guess is he isn't quite a year old yet.
He is literally a sponge, soaking up each day as a new day of learning. We suspect he wasn't overally socialized but that hasn't stopped him from being curious and a quick-study.
Mike is just discovering toys, and plays well with other dogs, and he's never met a stranger. He LOVES human attention as well, and will follow you everywhere. Mike is well on his way to being potty-trained. He is still puppy-like with his curiosity and while extremely well-mannered, he is figuring out what is "allowed" and what is "not allowed" (aka you might need to make sure you have a cover on your trash can)
This kid is a dream, super sweet and highly trainable and just looking for a family to shower him with love. Mike is in the process (and doing quite well) of leash walking and would benefit from a family that is dedicated to regular walks in the neighborhood and family outings (to continue his socialization with the world).
Mikey is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and has his rabies vaccine
Mike's neuter is being scheduled in the coming weeks and will be taken care of by the rescue.
Meet and Greets are required with kids and other dogs.
